We are snagging

Snag Scotland inspectors have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and have gained a wealth of experience in how new homes are built. We have advanced knowledge of the NHBC building standards, and strive to ensure that these are upheld in your new home.

Our snagging inspectors will pick up a lot more snagging defects than someone with an untrained eye would. Even small defects can potentially lead to serious problems in later years.The cost of fixing these defects in the future can be expensive, so better to catch them early and have them remedied by your builder for no cost.

Following the NHBC guidelines, our team will visually inspect the interior and exterior of your home, and note any defects found. We will also perform thermal imaging and heating system tests on your home.

Book an Inspection with Snag Scotland using our simple pricing and booking system or simply call, then choose a time and date to suit you.

Home Visit

When we visit your new home, we will undertake a thorough internal and external inspection of your property. A site visit usually takes between 2-5 hrs depending upon the size of the property.

Get your report

Once the visit is complete, we will send a detailed snagging survey report within 48hrs of the site visit. Our detailed report including photo images, will ensure the developer has all the information they require to rectify the issues found.
